Following leaks Nintendo has officially revealed the Nintendo Switch 2, which will release at some point in 2025, in this new promotional video.
The Switch 2 will be backward-compatible with Switch software, however Nintendo also state that “Certain Nintendo Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2.”. More details on their promotional site.

Nintendo will release more information at their next Nintendo Direct broadcast scheduled for 4th February, 2025.
I picked up the Switch OLED a few years back, but despite the impressive lineup, I’ve barely had time to play.
